Quality Assurance Engineer
Help us continue to raise the bar on quality. One product, one process, one supplier at a time.
We usually respond within three days
Since 2006, we’ve done things differently.
At Ridestore, growth has never been about chasing numbers. It’s about building a company where curiosity and a passion for learning drive everything. Our most important product isn’t just our gear, it’s our culture. That’s why from day one, we’ve avoided rigid corporate structures and instead focused on creating the company we’d love to work for.
...we value flexibility and calmness, and aim for asynchronous communication, and with that, avoiding unnecessary meetings and focusing on deep, meaningful work.
...we’re an idea-driven crew, powered by creativity, bold thinking, and collaboration.
...we believe that if we become a little bit better every day, it leads to long-term success.
..we love working with smart, humble people; it just makes everything more fun.
...and we co-create with our customers, obsessing over quality and experience. That’s why you’ll spot our brands on slopes all over the world.
The role
At Ridestore, quality is more than just specs and inspections; it’s how we deliver WOW to our customers through every detail. We’re now looking for a QA Engineer who’s ready to take ownership of our quality assurance work from the inside out, building trust, structure, and smarter ways of working with our suppliers and teams.
The first six months
You’ll focus on learning to swim in our context:
- Getting to know Ridestore: our culture, our ways, and what quality means here
- Understanding our products, materials, and quality standards: from idea to final delivery
- Taking ownership of your projects: leading quality initiatives with confidence and curiosity
- You’ll grow into being one of the key drivers of how we assure quality across our production and supplier ecosystem
What we see you driving in the long term
- Drive and structure the QA function alongside your teammates and turn experience into scalable systems
- Own and maintain our quality documentation, making sure it reflects our current processes and ways of working
- Lead inspections (PPS, 1st three inspections, IPC) and ensure standards are followed through
- Manage our Qarma system; Using it to collaborate and communicate with suppliers on inspection results, feedback loops, and improvement actions
- Plan and perform factory inspections, audits, and visits, staying close to the reality on the ground
- Represent QA internally, analyzing data and sharing insights that drive change in both products and processes
- Build strong relationships with suppliers by staying connected through strategic discussions, daily collaboration, and detailed troubleshooting
- Handle and follow up on any quality issues in bulk production, identifying the root cause rather than just the symptom
Who you are
You bring a solid background in Quality Assurance within manufacturing, and you’re no stranger to the production floor. You understand the methods, but you also challenge them. You use systems like PLM, Excel, and QMS tools naturally and can turn complexity into clarity.
You’re a problem-solver at heart; curious, analytical, and detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture. You care about collaboration and thrive when working closely with others to create lasting impact. Most importantly, you stay humble, calm, and open even when things get tough.
This is for you if you
- Love improving systems and spotting smarter ways of working
- Believe in quality as a team sport, not a solo function
- Get energy from combining hands-on work (inspections, audits) with strategic improvements (process design, supplier collaboration)
- Feel at home in a culture built on trust, autonomy, and grit
- Can travel 3-4 times a year, to our factories and partners
It's a full-time role with a base in Gothenburg, Sweden, where we have our only office. We’re all for flexibility, but in this role, we expect you to spend approximately four days a week at the office. (Note: To process your application, it’s essential to at least have a work permit in Sweden.)
What’s in it for you
At Ridestore, you’ll get the space to build, not just maintain. You’ll join a team that’s constantly learning, experimenting, and sharing ideas, where infinite learning and co-creation are not buzzwords but daily habits.
So join us if you want to be part of a fun-loving and humble crew that goes its own way. Our journey is our goal. We’ll offer you freedom in a passionate and snowy environment where you can impact the future of Ridestore with your work. 🫱🏼🫲🏻

In the application flow, we’ll ask you a few written questions to understand you better. Therefore, there's no need to spend time writing a cover letter! We’re working with our favorite external recruiter, Lisa, in this role, so she will handle the initial phase of this process.
