Production Lead
The maestro of the strategic relations!
We usually respond within two weeks
Our focus has never been on growth for the sake of growth; instead, we’ve built Ridestore with people who are curious and understand that business is all about people and their infinite learning. We try not to get stuck in corporate boring ways, which means we build the company we’d love to work for. Some examples;
- We have always championed an idea-driven culture, valuing originality, creativity, deep thinking, reflection, and collaboration. A good idea is a good idea, no matter where or who it comes from.
- We don’t believe in overarching company goals. Instead, we believe that if we keep a curious mind and become a little bit better every day, we achieve long-term success.
- We value output rather than 9-5. We adapt to changes, avoid unnecessary meetings, and aim for asynchronous communication because we believe in calmness and deep work.
- From one winter season to the next, we improve everything we do, and our products evolve with us and our customers.
- We want to work with the smartest and most humble people. We’ve found it’s simply more fun that way.
That said, our culture has always been the most important product we build. Equally, we love the products we co-create with our customers. Our dedication to exceptional quality and driving a great customer experience has led to the fact that you can find our two brands (Dope and Montec) on most slopes around the world.
What’s this role about, then?
In the short term, your main focus will be to onboard and get to know Ridestore and all its ins and outs. You will also build relations, especially with your awesome teammates from every part of the organization. This won't be hard, as the Ridestore crew is welcoming.
In the long term, you will be the maestro of the strategic relations with our tier 1 suppliers of ski wear and accessories. You’ll be forging strong partnerships with both new and existing suppliers for our production. In detail, your conversations will span from negotiating business terms to capacity planning and managing lead times. Together with your teammates, the experts in product development, quality, and sustainability, you will ensure that our production processes are efficient and have the highest commitment to quality. Together, we'll make sure that every product that bears the Dope & Montec name is not only top-notch quality but also made with integrity and care. We strive to create initiatives that add value to our customer experience, and you will contribute to making that happen in this role.
Areas we are sure you will cover:
- Strategic supplier relations: Source, negotiate, lead, and coordinate the production process in seamless collaboration with tier 1 suppliers.
- Product focus: a genuine passion for understanding the features of a product and associated production processes to be able to leverage this knowledge effectively in business negotiations.
- Problem-solving: Navigate complex challenges and uncertainties, dive into details of the production process, e.g., capacity planning, price negotiations, follow up on agreements, prioritize, and see the bigger picture.
- Effective communication: We believe in asynchronous communication, so your written communication, analytical mindset, and hands-on approach will be of essence
Sounds interesting? Here's what we're looking for:

Our ideal candidate is goal and detail-oriented and a true relationship builder who has strategic thinking combined with analytical skills. In addition, being a hands-on doer who’s resilient and flexible will help you thrive in this role.

About Ridestore
Ridestore was born with one simple underpinning ethos: The customer is the brand. The community has always been at the heart of Ridestore, and that’s never going to change. After all, the first customers were friends, and that’s still how we like to think of it today.
