We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to step in while one of our teammates is on parental leave. In this key role, you’ll keep our financial operations running seamlessly – no hiccups, no compliance risks, just smooth, reliable processes. What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage monthly closings, sales tax reporting, and financial compliance for our US and Canadian entities
• Keep our inventory tracking and financial reconciliation in perfect sync
• Work with external partners in tax, insurance, and compliance to ensure accuracy and smooth operations
• Spot inefficiencies and implement practical improvements without disrupting day-to-day operations
• Quickly get up to speed, take full ownership of financial tasks, and manage responsibilities independently

To have a running start in this role, you need to have the following in your backpack:

• Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting
• Expertise in reconciliation, sales tax reporting, and compliance
• Strong operational finance skills, hands-on and execution-focused
• Ability to effectively liaise with external experts
• Experience in inventory accounting and reconciliation

You’d be an even better match if you had experience with some of these! If you don’t, no worries, as long as you’re eager to learn, we’ve got your back with external support.

• Experience in US and Canadian sales tax reporting
• Experience with NetSuite (huge plus!)
• Previous work in an international e-commerce company

Where?

It's a full-time maternity cover, and we want you to be able to visit our only office in Gothenburg, especially at the start for hand over. We need a start before summer, so there’s time for handover, preferably in May. The rest of Ridestore is distributed across several countries, and we have a great digital workplace, which means it’s easy to work remotely.
